Airing from January of 1995 to July of 1998, Cybill is an American sitcom set in Los Angeles, California.  Cybill is an actress who never exactly hit the big time, but had moderate success, and now finds herself sliding into middle age and finding it more difficult to find good roles to play.  Her life is complicated by the antics of the people in her life: her daughters, Zoey, the youngest, who can be headstrong, and Rachel, the oldest daughter who is more repressed and uptight; her two ex-husbands Ira and Jeff; and her best friend, Maryanne, a very wealthy woman who joins Cybill in her sometimes juvenile hijinks.
