Home Improvement is an American sitcom based on the stand-up comedy of Tim Allen. Home Improvement was a tremendous hit and ran from 1991 through 1999. Home Improvement was famous for starting Tim Allen's acting career as well as putting blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson on the map before her appearances on Baywatch .
Home Improvement focused on the life of the Taylor family, Tim and Jill, and their three sons Brad, Randy and Mark. Tim works as a host on his own cable TV show called "Tool Time" where he shares his love of power-tools, sports and cars. Tim's cocky, know-it-all attitude frequently gets him into trouble, both on Tool Time and at home, and he frequently has to speak with their mysterious but wise neighbor Wilson.
Although Home Improvement was a major hit with audiences, the show could not seem to wrap up an Emmy award even though it was nominated 7 times.
