Fantasy Island was two separate television fantasy series that were introduced to the viewing public first in 1977 through two made for television movies. It then became a series that aired on ABC for a total of 7 seasons from January 14, 1978 to May 1984 and a run of 157 episodes.
The series centered around Mr. Roarke, who was an overseer of a mysterious island located somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Anyone could travel to the island from anywhere in the world and live out their fantasies. Each episode revolved around one visitor's fantasy, and many fantasies involved supernatural beings such as ghosts, demons or even witchcraft.
