The Partridge Family was an American television sitcom that aired on ABC from September 25th, 1970 to March 23rd, 1974 airing for a total of 4 seasons and 96 episodes.  The series was loosely based on The Cowsills, a popular American singing group from Newport, Rhode Island.  The show was nominated for many Golden Globes and TV Land awards but it never actually won one.
 
The Partridge Family was about a widowed mother and her five children who decide to attempt a career in music. They live in San Pueblo which is a small town in Northern, California.  The show focused on the lifestyle of a family trying to maintain a regular life but still living a show biz lifestyle constantly traveling and performing all over.
