In 1965 Doodles Weaver made several 6-minute long silly, slapstick short films to be sold in syndication to television stations as an alternative for cartoons.
Using silly costumes, like false mustaches, hats and other gimmicks, the shorts were silent with a voice-over narration in the first-person plural. Doodles portrayed all of the characters in each skit, with the cast listed as above.
Winstead Sheffield ‘Doodles’ Weaver was the uncle of Sigourney Weaver.
