Arrest and trial ran for one season and was broadcast on ABC television. It was a 90 minute dramatized court show that was set in Los Angeles and revolved around Detective Sergeants Nick Anderson and Dan Kirby, both with the Los Angeles Police Department. Each episode the two men would track down a criminal and then the criminal was defended by attorney, John Egan who would appear in court against Deputy District Attorney Jerry Miller.
