This television series pilot, made in 1961, was produced by Max Shulman but was never sold.
The program was to be about Ben Cousins, a successful building contractor, who is recruited by Lee Philips, a television producer, to star in a show about the misadventures of a man and his family. Ben Cousins is soon less than thrilled with his role as television star. Daddy-O is what he is called by his children in the television series.
