"Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse” was a television anthology series that aired on CBS. Shows included dramas, comedies, and musicals , featuring a number of Hollywood stars. One of its two part dramas was sold to competing television company ABC to create the show “The Untouchables ” (1959-63), which caused CBS to move the show to a less desirable spot for the second season. This brought about the series’ decline, and it was cancelled at the end of the season.
