Sea Hunt was an American adventure television series that aired in black and white for a total of 4 seasons and a run of 155 episodes from January 4, 1958 to September 23, 1961.  This series was a stepping stone for many up and coming actors.
 
The main character was Mike Nelson who was a scuba diver and the show 's plots centered around his various underwater adventures.  He was a 'save the day' type of character.  He worked alone and each episode was carried by his voice-over doing the narrations.
