Disneyland is the first of the Walt Disney anthology series that aired weekly continuously for 35 seasons on television. The program titled Disneyland aired on ABC on Wednesday from 1954 to 1958 in an hour-long format.
The first episode of Disneyland, broadcast on October 27, 1954, was called The Disneyland Story. The episode included a brief tour of Walt Disney Studios and then a segment about Disney’s new theme park to be opened on July 18, 1955, and previews of upcoming episodes.
