I Led Three Lives aired in black and white for a total of three seasons from October 1, 1953 to January 1, 1956 and a run of 117 total episodes. It was an American television drama series. It was a companion piece to the radio drama, "I was a Communist for the FBI" (1952-1954). It was based on the life of Herbert Philbrick who was an advertising executive in Boston who infiltrated the US Communist Party.
The main character was was played by Richard Carlson. He narrated each episode, however each plot had very little to do with actual events of Philbrick's life. The plot centered around Philbrick taking journeys to Eurpoe and South America.
