Each week an unsuspecting celebrity would be lured by some ruse to a location near the studio. They would then be surprised with the news that they were to be that week's featured guest. Escorted into the studio, the celebrity would have significant people in their lives brought out one by one to offer anecdotes. At the end of the show the family members and friends of the guest would gather around, and present the guest with gift, a scrapbook of memories, and a home 16mm camera and projector.
