Okay Mother was a game show that aired on WABD and the DuMont Television Network from 1949 to 1951.

Hosted by Dennis James, the program was intended to be a tribute to mothers.  The program was unique in that it combined elements of a variety show and a game show.  It included interviews, games and the reading of letters from viewers.

One of the elements was the opening segment called the ‘mother-gram’ where James would read a riddle and the ladies in the studio would guess the answer to win a prize.  Letters were sent in by viewers nominating some woman as mother of the week, and that woman would also win a prize.
