Adventure / Mystery / Cloak and Dagger was an NBC radio series, a foreign intrigue adventure adapted from the book Cloak and Dagger by Corey Ford and Alastair MacBain.
This is the story of the WWII special governmental agency , the Office of Strategic Services. The OSS' mission was to develop and maintain networks of espionage and intelligence gathering throughout Europe and into Asia. It also focused on giving aid to underground partisan groups and developing espionage activities for Allied forces overseas.
A syndicated transcription package produced by the Louis G. Cowan agency , Cloak and Dagger was broadcast from May 7 to October 22, 1950 with a cast that included Raymond Edward Johnson, Everett Sloane and Jackson Beck.
Scriptwriter Wyllis Cooper directed the series with research support provided by Percy Hoskins, British journalist, crime reporter and author.
