Battle Stations was a four-part program aired in August of 1943.  Each episode was a half-hour long and was created by the U.S. Naval Department.  The first two episodes reported to the American people stateside the status and progress of the naval battles that were being fought around the world.  The second two shows went over the accomplishments, history and hopes of the United States Navy in more general terms.

For history buffs, these documentaries are great listening, presenting an educational and informative view of the American Navy in WWII.
