Stars Over Hollywood was an American drama featuring some of Hollywood's top talent in adaptations of various stories.  One of the interesting facts about Stars Over Hollywood was that it was broadcast live at 9:30 a.m. each Saturday morning .  Critics were sure that there would be little audience listening at that time, and even more sure that getting Hollywood actors and actresses into the studio at 9:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning was a fool's errand.  However, Paul Pierce, Stars Over Hollywood's director, proved the critics wrong and proved to Hollywood that Saturday mornings could be a profitable market.
