Buck Rogers is a man of our time who was trapped in a cave-in at an abandoned mine he was surveying, and was subjected to a mysterious gas that held him in suspended animation until he was discovered in the 25th century. He is resuscitated by inventor and scientist Dr. Huer. The Doctor's assistant, Space Corps Lieutenant Wilma Deering, aids Buck in his recovery and teaches him about the new technologies of the 25th century. Buck catches on to the marvelous inventions and ways of the future, and sets off on adventures.
