"Valley and Mountain, River and Plain, through Wind and Storm… rides Ann of the Airlane"
The story focused on Ann Burton, an airplane hostess employed by Interstate Airlines, definitely inspired by the success of Amelia Earhart. She also worked with the Secret Service, as did her romantic interest, pilot Jack Baker. Secret Service agent and co-pilot Art Morrison was Ann's main contact in her adventures. There were more than a few radio aviation dramas during the 1930's, but this was the only one with a female lead.
