This film stars Kate Hudson who plays a lawyer named Liv and Anne Hathaway who plays a school teacher named Emma . They both live in Manhattan and have been best friends since childhood. They become engaged to their boyfriends on the same day and go the famous Marion St. Claire to plan their wedding parties at the Plaza Hotel. Problems arise after Marion’s secretary schedules their weddings on the same day. They both refuse to change the date and become rivals trying to ruin each other’s wedding.
