Gilbert and Lewis are two nerds that are about to begin their freshman year at Adams College , yet are unaware of the problems that are about to face them. The athletes of Alpha Beta begin to make fun of them, which leads to the jocks unintentionally burning down their house. More problems come their way when Lewis begins to have feelings for Betty Childs, an attractive sorority girl who happens to be the girlfriend of the quarterback. The nerds come up with a plan to start their own fraternity, using their knowledge to backfire on the jocks.
