Mitchell is a sloppy, overweight, alcoholic police detective who sometimes appears to solve his cases by luck rather than skill. Between moments with his prostitute girlfriend, Greta, Mitchell is a tough cop who seems to take the law seriously, in spite of his lifestyle and appearance. Mitchell's latest case involves him trying to track down a couple of drug runners in hopes of them leading him to the mob boss.
