This film is based on a true story set in Flatbush, Brooklyn where a gay bank robber held up the Chase Manhattan Bank in order to get enough to pay for his lover’s sex change operation.  Sonny and Sal are the guys to rob the bank, but realize there is nothing much to steal.  Then Sonny receives a phone call from the police captain who agrees to take him to the airport if he does not harm the employees.
