This is the fifth and last film dedicated to Planet of the Apes .  It is Caesar’s duty to maintain peace between the humans and apes after defeating the tyrannical humans in the previous film. Mercenary General Aldo has other beliefs and attempts to create an ape war. While all of this is taking place, some humans find out and plan to take back what they consider is theirs, starting another battle.
