World War 3 almost comes to full effect when an American space capsule is taken by a suspected Russian spacecraft. The British Government believe that other forces are behind this since the spaceship landed near Japan. James Bond realizes that S.P.E.C.T.R.E. is responsible for the robbery, but their incentive is not clear. First, he needs to locate the missing space craft, for if he does not find it, America and Russia will begin another world war.
