In order to prove to him that she does have talent, she auditions for a nightclub singing act and is chosen for the part. The film then takes an unexpected turn, when Heather faints during a rehearsal and is rushed to the hospital, only to find out she is pregnant.
She is offered by three men who idolize her to marry her and then her boss, Harlan shows up to the hospital as well and he marries Heather right there just in time before she delivers the baby.
