This documentary shows the art of Ed Kienholz displayed in his exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in 1966.
Kienholz moved to Los Angeles in 1953, where he began making a collection of bas-reliefs. He was known for “Assembly Art” sculptures that were stuffed animals, mannequins, and clothing that told the message of abortion, bordellos, and back seat sex.
