Glenn Ford and Henry Fonda play Ben and Howdy, older cowboys let some broncos out for Jim Ed Love in Sedona. Meg and Agatha are sisters whom are interested in Ben and Howdy, but they are not ready to have any relationships with any girls yet. During the winter, the men work on corralling cattle and make a bet on their bankroll. They must make some decision if they do actually win the bet on what they will do in their life, which is either settling down with the sister or traveling to Tahiti.
