Carter Harrison lives in London where he is a statesman and where he encounters a sassy Italian by the name of Toni. They hastily marry each other and soon realize they have nothing in common and cannot agree on anything. They separate from one another and meet again five years later, right before their divorce is finalized. Once they see each other again, the attraction they had for each other returns but it is not too long before the fighting begins and they proceed with their divorce. The only problem is that Carter’s marriage could help him get a promotion. He plans to get back together with Toni.
