The film takes place in Chicago during prohibition. An unscrupulous sheriff and criminal Guy Gisborne put an end to the leader Big Jim. Robbo is in charge of the North side, while Guy is in charge of the South side, yet everyone now works for Guy. Robbo does not have as much power as Guy, yet wants to keep his area. A couple of men start working with Robbo, including a pool player and director of boy’s orphanage. Robbo becomes popular and a sort of Robin Hood after donating some money to the orphanage. Guy is not happy with this news and plans a way to put an end to Robbo. Big Jim’s daughter Marian arrives looking for someone to join forces with her to run the gang world.
