Mike is out of work when he gets fired by his boss’s daughter on a boat in Acapulco. He searches for a new job and gets one as a lifeguard and singer at a nearby hotel with the assistance of young boy Rauol. He runs into problems when his competitive colleague, who is the golden boy diver of Mexico, is angered by Mike taking his girlfriend and his hours on the job.
