Entertaining and often hilarious swashbuckler with spoofy tone and lots of special effects. Young Knight Lockwood sets out to rescue the beautiful Princess Helm, who's been kidnapped by an evil sorcerer (Basil Rathbone). He slays the evil ogre and a dragon, and bests the wicked sorcerer to win the hand of the fair princess. Rathbone is great as the evil sorcerer, relishing his foul deed and eagerly planning new transgressions.
