Steve Judd is a former marshal who is enlisted to deliver a gold shipment through a threatening province. He enlists the help of his old partner, Gil Westrum, and his young student, Heck, to help him. Little does Steve know that Gil and Heck plan to take the gold for themselves. On the way they encounter a young woman who is determined to flee from her father, fiancé, and his crazy brothers.
