When young Cyrus inherits his uncle's house he and his impoverished family move in, unaware that the house is haunted by twelve ghosts. And the twelve ghosts need to "make" a thirteenth so that they can escape the house. There's also hidden treasure in the house, which one of the houseguests is willing to kill for! Dr. Zorba, a withdrawn man has passed away and left his mysterious estate to his poor nephew Cyrus Zorba and his family. The house comes along with 12 ghosts who can be seen through the special goggles of Zorba. The family soon discovers there is a fortune located somewhere in the house and their lives become threatened.
