Rodeo rider Kelly Cobb rides the rodeo circuit to earn money to buy his own land. He meets girl rodeo rider Jackie Adams, and saves her from a relentless sports writer who has designs on her. Jackie falls in love with Kelly, but he's so consumed with his goal that he doesn't seem to notice. Jackie thinks that, although he was born reckless, she may be able to change him.
