Danny has flunked graduation for the second time and needs to find a job to help out his lazy father. He finds a job as a singer in the King Creole nightclub. Criminal Maxie Fields runs everything in town, but not this nightclub. Danny runs into problems when he gets involved with Field’s girl and thugs.
