This film centers around the configuration of the US Army’s First Ranger Battalion in World War II and their first commanding officer Major Orlando Darby, who later became Lieutenant Colonel. Their plan was to construct a US base right by the British military. It also centers on their rigorous training alongside the Brits in Scotland, where their lives change with love and war. Most of the story is fiction.
