Inexperienced rodeo cowboy Bo Decker falls head over heels with cafe singer Cherie in Phoenix. She is not interested in his advances and attempts to run off to Los Angeles, but he tracks her down and has her travel on a bus with him to his Montana home. Everyone on the bus is aware of the kidnapping when the bus stops at Grace's Diner due to a road blockage. None of this seems to matter to Bo, for he wants Cherie either way.
