The film is set in 1900 where boy by the name of Nugget has run away and arrives in a prosperous town in Oklahoma. His brother, a casino dealer lives there and is having an affair with the madam, Tacey Cromwell. The three of them team up and travel to Colorado , for there it is a mining town. Clint gets a job as a banker while Tacey adopts a young girl by the name of Seely. Problems arise when Clint attracts the banker’s daughter Judith Watrous. She is a nice girl but viciously tries to get Tacey out of the picture.
