The film is set in 1870 where a Yankee sea captain named O'Keefe is left stranded after a revolt on the Micronesian island of Yap, where there is plenty of copra that could make him some money. Yet, a German company already has ownership over it with barely any dwellers. O’Keefe is determined to make his dreams into reality on the island.
