This film centers on a beautiful horse named Gypsy who makes her way home from a long journey to be reunited with her owner, a young girl named Meg who lives out in the west. Her parents Frank and Em MacWade are afraid to tell their daughter that her horse has been sold for an upcoming race since they were in need of money. The horse wants no part in leaving Meg and is sent 500 miles away. Gypsy doesn’t give up and has an interesting journey back home.
