3 Ring Circus is a 1954 comedy film released by Paramount Pictures and was directed by Joseph Pevney.
When Pete and Jerry are furloughed out of the army Jerry decides to pursue his dream of joining the circus He lands a job with the Clyde Brent Circus as the lion tamer and his pal Pete goes along for the ride.
While learning to be a lion tamer Jerry also does odd jobs for the circus, including performing as the ‘Human Cannonball’.
Pete is attracted to Saadia, Queen of the Trapeze and begins working as her assistant. This causes some problems since Jill, the owner of the circus, is also interested in Pete.
When the star clown of the circus is too drunk to perform, Jerry fills in for him as Jerrico the Wonder Clown and is an instant hit.
The circus, which had been in financial trouble, begins to recover thanks to the popularity of Jerrico, and things also begin to warm up between Pete and Jill.
