Clark Gable portrays Victor Marswell who is in charge of a big game trapping company in Kenya. He finds Eloise Kelly there and they immediately become attracted to one another. Mr. and Mrs. Nordley arrive for their gorilla documenting safari . Mrs. Nordley is not interested in her husband anymore and becomes interested in Marswell. All four must adjust to their emotions.
