In this film, Montana ranch owner Cyrus Higbee sends his foreman Gene Autry along with Rawhide Buttram (Pat Buttram) to Canada. There, he wants the two to stop the marriage of Higbee’s daughter, Sandra (Gail Davis). Higbee doesn’t like Sandra’s fiancé, Todd Markley (Ross Ford), and thinks he is only interested in her wealth. When the two get to Canada, they discover that Sandra has turned the land into a dude ranch and when a Mountie is found murdered, evidence seems to point toward Sandra’s fiancé. Gene works to find the culprit and restore peace to the area.
