Based on the story of Colonel Paul Tibbets, the pilot who bombed Hiroshima. He is not fully aware of the capability of the atomic bomb, but knows that an enormous amount of people will die from it.  He is hesitant to drop a bomb that will kill so many people, but knows that if he goes through with it, the war may come to an end. If he does not, then the fighting will still continue. On top of his anxiety over the issue, he cannot tell anyone about the mission, not even his wife. He starts to feel the pressure as time passes by with no one to talk to.
