Judy Canova plays the queen of the cowgirls, a shopkeeper who falls in love with the town's new sheriff (John Russell). To get closer to him, she performs an act of courage that earns her a deputy badge. Together the two begin a campaign to rid the town of corrupt politicians and illegal gambling dens. When the sheriff is kidnapped, Canova rallies together all the women in town to rescue him. A fun, rambunctious musical comedy showing Judy Canova at her best.
