David Niven is B. G. Bruno, a wealthy Scottish millionaire caught up in a case of mistaken identity in the British musical comedy. During a film festival in Edinburgh, Bruno’s limousine delivers an unknown dancer, Janet Jones (Vera-Ellen) to the event, due to her hitching a ride from the driver. The public begins to spread rumors about the girl and the situation is further complicated by Bruno falling for her. Jones mistakes Bruno for a newspaper reporter leading to a hilarious climax and true love winning out in the end. Look for Cesar Romero in an over-the-top performance as producer John Frost.
