Ken steals some wood from a lumber yard, but feels guilty about it afterwards. Hence he decides to go to a lawyer for advice on what to do. The lawyer gives Ken a speech about how a small crime can turn into a felony. He also teaches him why he should respect the law, going on to state “Peace and happiness are impossible unless our individual possessions are secure”.
