Professor Brookfield and his attractive daughters, Peggy and Susan, move to California to the small town of Pasadena. Mrs. Fielding is their neighbor and she instantly takes matters into her own hands, trying to make their move easier. She suggests the girls should enter the Rose Bowl pageant. Not too fond of the idea, the girls still enter the competition. Peggy catches the attention of Mrs. Fielding’s son, Tom. He is unaware that she is in love with a famous football star, so she pushes Susan onto him.
