Many unsolved murders in Rincon require the services of marshall Larry West. Deputy Marshal Larry West comes to Rincon to solve the killings of many ranchers. Blackie Mullet is the head of a gang who works for the neighborhood land and water organization. He tries to persuade Larry that the Indians were the ones to murder the ranchers. Larry has a friend who works as an editor for the newspaper and his assistant Polly Medford informs him that the land and water company is responsible for the murders. This is news to Larry, for he did not know that Blackie was the leader of the disgraceful Dalton gang. Problems arise for Larry when he is taken to prison for killing Missouri Ganz in an act of self defense. Luckily the nice Indians are there to free him so he can find Blackie and his group.
