Esther Williams manages a baseball team, locks horns with players Sinatra and Kelly, and wins them over with song. Naturally, there's a water ballet scene. Contrived and forced, but enjoyable.

The Wolves baseball team is infuriated after they discover they have been succeeded by K.C. Higgins, who has plans to run their team. Little to their surprise, K.C. is a beautiful woman who knows a lot about baseball. Second baseman Dennis Ryan and his womanizing roommate Eddie O'Brien have an interest in her, yet Ryan is the one in love with her.
